The designers being featured at the TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022 have answers to all your fashion needs. As they bring out their best creations, they also reveal how they have been focussing on factors like sustainability and aesthetics.
Nude presents The Himalayan Times TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022 in association with Carlsberg and Agni Group and coloured by Asian Paints is scheduled for September 22-24 at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu.

Collection: Lilac
All about the collection Our theme is 'Lilac' because our collection's colours - lavender and white - were inspired from lilac flowers. The designs of our collection - gowns - are for women who can wear them for celebrations and evening parties. A total of 10 designs will be on display, some of which are inspired by Disney princesses and fairy tales.
We have opted for fabrics like knit, silk, and georgette to design the gowns of this collection. The use of fabrics of light colours has given a sparkly appearance to the gowns.
Being a part of TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022
It is my debut at a fashion show as a designer. I have finally got the chance to present my designs on the grand stage of TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022, and this will give me an experience of a lifetime. By taking part in this fashion show, I hope to increase my self-confidence as well as discover my true potential through self-realisation. Additionally, customers will also get informed about my design.

Collection: Spring and Autumn
All about the collection We are showcasing contemporary universal designs which focus on timeless designs. It's those designs which remain on trend for a long period of time. We also focus on sustainable fashion.
As such the fabric used to make these designs primarily is cotton, with use of a little bit of hemp as well. The fabric has Nepali prints such as aankhi jhyaal, rhododendron (gurans), and traditional motifs.
Our collection comprises casual wear such as shirts, scarves, mostly made using cotton and hemp, while jeans trousers also make a part of the collection. We have also used pouches, belts, and tassels as accessories for this collection.
Being a part of TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022
The main reason for us to participate in TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022 is for our exposure as designers and to build connections.
The TGIF Nepal Fashion Week is back after a hiatus of about three-four years. We had received a positive response during our participation in the previous edition of this fashion week.
That response inspired us to present our newest collection at this year's event. Through this fashion gala, we also want to make the consumers (of fashion) aware that slow fashion is very wearable and also environment-friendly.
