KATHMANDU, MAY 21

The Himalayan Times International Food Fest 2026 is happening tomorrow, May 23, at The Everest Hotel, Kathmandu. Mark your calendars for what promises to be one of the biggest food and lifestyle celebrations of the year, featuring food, music, games, and endless entertainment for the entire family.

This year's edition is coming bigger than ever, bringing together 20 restaurants and cafes serving 15 different cuisines from around the world. Whether you're craving authentic Nepali dishes, international cuisines, or fusion concepts, the festival has something for everyone. Beyond the food, visitors can explore numerous exhibition stalls and shops offering unique products, browse the farmers market, and enjoy interactive games and entertainment zones throughout the venue.

Three incredible live bands will take the stage throughout the day, including Ujan Shakya wo: Emerge, Kehar & The Lunga, and Yak Attyakk, delivering dynamic performances that will keep the energy high from morning till evening. DJs Abhi and Midday will keep the beats going between sets, while emcee Jay Pradhan will host and energize the crowd. With live music, delicious food, and exciting activities, there's truly something for every age group.

The festival features a dedicated kids zone where children can enjoy games, activities, and entertainment in a safe and fun environment. Best of all, children under the age of five get free entry to the event, making it a family-friendly celebration.

For students aged 18 and above, entry is just Rs. 100, making this an affordable outing for the younger crowd. Tickets for all other visitors can be booked through the Khalti App. Please bring your ID cards to the entrance for verification.

The event takes place at The Everest Hotel, Kathmandu. Parking will be available at the parking lot across the hotel, so visitors can easily find a spot and make their way to the festival grounds.
