MALEKHU: A person died on the spot after a truck met with an accident in Salyankot VDC-1 of Dhading district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Jiban Lama of Sindhuli district.

According to the District Police Office, Dhading, the incident that occurred when the truck (Na 5 Kha 6437) fell off 130 metres down from the road.

The truck was heading towards the district headquarters Dhadingbensi from Phulkharka VDC.

Truck driver Jas Bahadur Ghale and his helper Prabin Gurung of Phulkharka have sustained injuries in the incident. Both of them are receiving treatment at the Salyantar-based primary health centre, informed police.
