JHAPA: One person died and two other sustained critical injuries in a knife attack at Prithvinagar of the district on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Rajan Magar (17) and injured as Sanjay Limbu (19) and Sanjay Urau (18) of Prithvinagar.

According to police, Sanjog Limbu (20) of the same place had attacked them with a knife while they were sleeping at the tea garden of Krishna Subba.

The injured are receiving treatment at the Bhadrapur-based Pathibhara Hospital, police informed.

Police further informed that they have arrested Sanjog for investigation.
