BHOJPUR: A person died and two others were injured when a tractor they were travelling in met with an accident in Laligurans-1 of Tehrathum district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Rupmina Yonghang (48) of Panchthar.

Yonghang owns a hotel in the same area.

Police said that the incident occurred after the tractor (Me 1 Ta 1880) skidded off the road and fell some 50 metres down yesterday.

Tractor driver Bal Bahadur Tamang (31) of Sankhuwasabha and assistant driver Santosh Tamang (27) were injured in the incident.

They are being treated at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, informed the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar.
