PALPA: A woman died and three others were injured when two motorcycles collided in Saptari district on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Lila Devi Joshi (52) of Hariharpur-9, Saptari. She was riding pillion in one of the motorcycles.

Police said that biker Mala Kumari Joshi (29) of the same VDC was critically injured in the incident. It is said that Joshi has been admitted to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan.

Furthermore, motorcyclist Sabin Rayamajhi (20) and pillion rider Dipak Shrestha of Sunsari Bhasi, injured in the collision, have been rushed to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar.
