DAMAULI: A man died after he got struck by a lightning in Manpang-4, Salbote of Tanahun on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Lekh Bahadur Rana, SP Gyanendra Chhetri of the District Police Office, Tanahun informed.

Rana was sleeping on the roof of his two-storey building when the incident occurred, he added.

Chhetri informed that Rana was found unconscious with his body partially burnt.

Preparations are underway to bring the body of Rana to the Damauli Hospital for autopsy, he said.
