KATHMANDU: A bomb went off injuring at least 10 persons in Gajeda of Banganga Municipality-4 of Kapilvastu district this afternoon.

According to DSP Prahlad Adhikari, Spokesperson at Kapilvastu District Police Office, the bomb exploded at the Gajedaha-Taulihawa road section at around 1:35 pm today.

The bomb exploded some 800 metres away from a polling station in Gajeda, informed DSP Adhikari.

The injured are undergoing treatment at a local hospital. Their condition is stable, he added.

A police team has reached the incident site and is investigating into the case.
