RATNANAGAR, CHITWAN: As many as 10 people were injured at Kurintar in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality in Chitwan this morning after a goods-laden truck overturned at the road side.

Among the injured, 28-year-old truck driver Binod Kumar Saha of Parsa district is said to be in critical condition.

The truck (Na 6 Kha 89) heading towards Kathmandu from Muglin in Chitwan district went out of control before it turned turtle injuring 10 passengers aboard near the gate of Manakamana Cable Car at around 8am today, according to the Chitwan District Police Office.

All the injured were sent to a health institution in Bharatpur, Chitwan for the treatment.

The accident happened after the driver lost control, stated police.
