PYUTHAN: At least 12 persons were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident in Tiram-4 of Pyuthan district on Tuesday morning.

According to Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Kurumbang, the ill-fated bus (Lu 1 Kha 3249) was heading towards Krishnanagar from Bhingri when the incident took place.

He informed that personnel from Nepal Police and Nepal Army are carrying out rescue operation.

Among the injured, 10 are in critical condition, Kurumbang further informed.
