Kathmandu, September 23 :

As many as 12 teachers of the Swarnim Siksha Sadan, Bhurungkhel, today resigned en masse after the school administration denied Dashain bonus to them. Mohan Bahadur Shrestha, principal of the school, however, said the resignations have not been approved yet.

“I want to resolve the dispute through discussion between teachers and school administration but some teachers took the issue to the parents too,” he said, adding that he now wants the teachers apologise for their misdeed.

“Denial of Dashain bonus is not the only reason for resignation. We want overall reforms in all aspects of the school management,” Arjun Khanal, a teacher in the school.
