KATHMANDU: As many as 13 persons were injured in a bus accident in Thulokerkha of Topgachchi-7, Jhapa on Thursday.

According to police, the bus (Na 3 Kha 9435) suffered a brake failure and met with the accident at around 7:45 yesterday morning.

The injured are being treated at the Life Line Hospital, Damak. Among them, Wahid Ansari of Inaruwa -4, Bara, is said to be in critical condition.

Police have impounded the vehicle and detained the driver for further investigation.
