Owner of 14 Peaks Outdoor pledges over 250 tents and other supplies for immediate relief support

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 5

Nepali climber and entrepreneur Tashi Lakpa Sherpa, the owner of 14 Peaks Outdoor and 14 Peaks Expedition, has announced that he is ready to provide emergency relief materials worth USD 100,000 to those affected by the current difficult situation in Nepal.

Sherpa, through a social media post, stated that he has over 250 camping tents and other essential supplies ready to be distributed for immediate humanitarian assistance.

"If anyone is in need, I'm more than happy to help by providing camping tents and other essential equipment for immediate relief during this difficult time in Nepal," Sherpa wrote.

He further urged those in need of support to contact him or his office staff directly. "I'm ready to provide up to USD 100,000 worth of equipment to help those affected. Let's stand together and support each other through this," he added.

The relief effort will be coordinated through 14 Peaks Outdoor, Thamel, with Prem Sherpa (9802364721) serving as the contact person for distribution and logistics.

Tashi Lakpa later stated that he will hand over 207 tents to AIG Dan Bahadur Karki this afternoon.
