JANAKPURDHAM: Nepal Police arrested a 14-year-old local boy on charge of raping three minor girls, aged six to eight, from Mithilanagar Municipality of Dhanusha district.

The suspect allegedly took the girls to a jungle in the neighbourhood and raped them. He had been sexually exploiting the victims for some days, police said.

The incidents came into light and police swung into action on Monday after the victims told their parents about the horrific offences that they faced.

According to the District Police Office, the alleged perpetrator was arrested after the victims underwent medical checkup.

The boy has been kept in the custody of District Police Office.
