15 hurt in Dhading jeep accident
DHADING: As many as fifteen persons sustained injuries in a jeep accident at Dhaulolamo in Nilkantha Municipality-9 of Dhading district on Sunday.
An ill-fated bolero jeep (Ga 1 Jha 5431) heading to Dhadingbesi, district headquarters, from Khari of Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality-5 fell 5-metres below the road, injuring all fifteen persons on board, around 9:20 am today.
According to the District Police Office Dhanding Communication Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rupak Khadka, two seriously persons have been referred to the Trauma Centre in Kathmandu for further treatment.
The other injured persons are receiving treatment at the District Hospital in Dhadingbesi. The incident occurred after an over-crowded jeep lost control and fell down the road, DSP Khadka shared.
Meanwhile, an investigation into the case is underway, according to police.
