CHITWAN: At least 15 persons were injured when a bus carrying wedding attendants met with an accident at Phisling of Darechok VDC-4 in Chitwan district along the Prithivi Highway on Saturday morning.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the bus (Ba 3 Kha 5330) was heading towards Gorkha from Bhaktapur when the incident occurred.

Among the injured, the condition of three is said to critical.

Police said that two persons are receiving treatment at the Bharatpur Medical College and others have been taken to Kathmandu for treatment.

Police said that the incident might have occurred due to over-speed.
