15 voting centres most sensitive in Panchthar

District Security Committee Panchthar has listed 15 voting stations of one municipality and seven rural municipalities as the most sensitive voting centres.
The committee has identified 15 voting centres as the most sensitive, 57 as sensitive and 28 as normal out of 100 voting centres in the district.
As per the Chief District Officer Binod Kumar Khadka, all the 15 most sensitive voting centres almost lie in Phidim Municipality.
The committee has deployed Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepali Army personnel and temporary police at different voting centres.
Earlier, a field study was carried for security arrangements in the most sensitive and sensitive centres.
DSP Nakul Pokhrel at District Police Office, Panchthar, said that as many as 716 temporary police had been deployed at different voting centres in the district.
Meanwhile, Chief Election Officer Rajendra Kumar Shrestha said that as many as 156 election officers, 156 assistant election officers, 312 assistant election staffers and 272 election office attendants had been deployed in 156 polling booths of the district.
