Nawalparasi/Jhapa, Sept 25:

Seventeen persons, including a Constituent Assembly member, were injured in separate road accidents in Nawalparasi and Jhapa today.

Nine persons, including CA member from Rupandehi-1, Babita Devi Dhobi, were injured when a passenger bus heading to Taulihawa from Kathmandu overturned at Ramnagar-1 along East-West Highway. All the injured are undergoing treatment in a hospital.

Meanwhile, eight persons were injured when a truck overturned on

the Mechi Highway in Jhapa’s Kerkha-7 today, the police said.

All the injured returned home after treatment in the Lifeline Hospital.
