176 SLC candidates expelled from Mahottari

Kathmandu, April 4

Office of the Controller of the Examination today said that a total of 176 School Leaving Certificate examinees have been expelled in four days of exam from Mahottari district.

Krishna Prasad Kapri, exam controller, OCE, today said that a total of 176 examinees from Mahottari district have been expelled in four days.

He said that till date, 23 invigilators, four office assistants and one exam superintendent have been expelled for acting against exam discipline.

He further said that action had also been taken against 25 other persons involved in helping the examinees cheat.

“We have deployed a monitoring team from the centre, which is closely monitoring the exam centres and taking action against all those who are involved in indecent activities inside the exam hall,” he said.

He further said that the exam was being carried out in a very decent manner in comparison to previous years.

The SLC examinees today sat for Compulsory Science paper on the fourth day and they will be appearing in Compulsory Social Studies paper tomorrow.
