KHOTANG: Khotang Sewa Samaj UK has helped landslide victims with money at Chautari Danda Primary School of Simpane VDC. The Samaj helped landslide victims of 59 houses in the VDC. It distributed Rs 15,150 to four members of a family who had lost their houses, Rs 4,500 each was to the two members of a family and Rs 2,500 to each family of 51 houses. Treasurer Prasad Rai of the Samaj said Nepali migrant workers in the UK had collected Rs 197,100 for them. Lawmaker Bishal Bhattarai handed over the amount to victims amid a programme at the school some days ago.
