BIRGUNJ: Two persons were killed when a motorbike collided with a bus coming from opposite direction in Niggud, Bara along the East-West Highway on Sunday night.

The deceased have been identified as Buddha Lama, who died on the spot, and Sanjib Moktan, who breathed his last in hospital. Both were local residents of Niggud 7.

According to the police, both of them were on the motorcycle when the mishap occurred.

The driver and bus have been taken into police custody for inquiries into the incident.
