NAWALPARASI: Two persons have been found dead on Saturday after they went missing in a flooded hole at Palhinandan Rural Municipality-3 in Nawalparasi district.

The deceased have been identified as 11-year-old Krishna Gupta and 51-year-old Brijalal Gupta, both residing in the locality.

The incident occurred when Brijalal entered into the deep hole flooded by rainwater in an attempt to rescue drowning Krishna but both of them went missing in the process on Friday.

The duo were found floating in the hole today, informed police.

In another incident,  a person had gone missing after being swept by a river in Pratappur Rural Municipality of the district since Thursday.

Ibhrahim Miya, who was swept away by the flooded Khajura River has yet to be found.

The search for the missing Miya is on, informed police.
