BHIMDUTTANAGAR: Two persons died and ten people were seriously injured in a road accident at Gaindakot in Nawalparasi district on Monday morning.

According to police, the accident took place when the passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 4057) heading towards the Capital from Bhimduttanagar collided with a truck.

Identity of a deceased has been identified as Santosh Shah of Bhimduttanagar in Kanchanpur district, while identity of an army man has not been ascertained so far.

Chairman of the Mahakali Seti Transport Entrepreneurs Committee informed that Shah was the helper of the passenger bus.

Police further said the 10 people who were injured in the accident are receiving medical treatment at the Chitwan-based Bharatpur Medical College.
