RAUTAHAT: Two persons including a minor drowned in separate places of Rautahat on Saturday.

According to Inspector Birendra Paswan of the District Police Office, Rautahat, two-and-half-year-old Aditya Kumar Jha, son of Arbinda Kumar Jha, was found drowned in a ditch yesterday evening.

Similarly, Alok Kumar (32) of Tanakapur, Shivahar in India drowned in Bagmati River at Pauraye of Rautahat.

Police said that Alok venturned into the river to take bath.

Alok with his four friends had gone to Pauraye of Rautahat for a picnic.

Police said that the bodies of Aditya and Alok have been handed over to their family members after conducting autopsy at the District Hospital, Gaur.
