2 Indian nationals held with 78 kg marijuana

BIRGUNJ: Police on Sunday arrested two Indian nationals with 78 kg of marijuana.

Based on information that a car with Indian registration number plate (UP 85 0133) is heading towards Raxual from Manahari of Hetauda with a huge cache of marijuna, the Inaruwa Police Post beefed up security and managed to nab the smugglers along with the drug during the security check.

Police informed that the marijuana was hidden inside the false box of the car.

According to the District Police Office, Parsa, the arrestees have been identified as car driver Ashok Kumar of Bhojpur Block Road, Bihiya Bihar of India and Asha Kunwar of Bihar.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bir Bahadur Oli of the District Police Office, Parsa, informed that a police team under the command of Sub-Inspector (SI) Purushottam Subedi, nabbed the Indian nationals along with the marijuana this morning.
