NAWALPARASI: Two persons died after the motorcycle they were travelling on collided with a Bolero Jeep in Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality-1 along the East-West Highway of eastern Nawalparasi on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Jagat Bahadur Pariyar (33) of Pyuthan, currently residing in Kawasoti Municipality-16 of Nawalparasi, and his cousin pillion rider Bijaya Pariyar (10), according to Dumkibas Police.

According to police, the incident occurred when the Bolero (Lu 1 Ta 9759) heading in a westward direction collided head-on with the motorcycle (Lu 20 Pa 517) yesterday.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the bolero and detained its driver for further investigation, said police.
