KATHMANDU: Two persons died on the spot after a tractor met with an accident in Sonama Rural Municipality-3 of Mahottari district on Sunday.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle (Ja 1 Ta 3388) and his helper died after the former lost his control over the vehicle and met with the accident.

Identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained, said police.

The vehicle was heading towards Sunama from Raghunathpur of the district.

Police are looking into the case.
