HETAUDA: Two kids were killed and four others injured when a tractor overloaded with concrete and stones met with an accident near Hetaunda Cement Industry in Makawanpur.

According to the District Police Office Makawanpur, 11-year-old Roshan Karki and 12-year-old Sujit Moktan of Padam Pokhari were killed in the accident. Roshan Karki is the son of the tractor owner and driver, Ram Kumar Karki who was injured too. The others injured are 13- year -old Naresh Thapa, 8-year-old Sonam Moktan and 10-year-old Aayush Dimdung. The injured could not be treated in Hetaunda Hospital and have been sent to Bharatpur Hospital.

The ill-fated tractor had fallen off a cliff in Padampokhari. Karki had purchased the tractor 15 days ago.

Likewise, 11 persons were injured when a cab bound for Rajbiraj from Rupani turned turtle at Panchkilometer area in Saptari today morning.
