INARUWA: Twenty people were injured a bus-truck collision at Laukahi-7 in Sunsari district along the East-West Highway on Wednesday.

The accident took place when the bus (Ko 1 Kha 3591) heading towards west from east and the truck (Na 4 Kha 5100) collided head-on this morning.

According to the District Police Office, Sunsari, the injured have been referred to Biratnagar from the District Hospital, Inaruwa for further treatment.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shyam Singh Chaudhary said that the accident might have taken place due to over speed. Police have impounded both the vehicles.
