CHITWAN: As many as 201 people have been detected with scrub typhus for the past two months.

According to Chitwan District Public Health Office, among 817 suspicious patients examined, 201 were

District Public Health Office Chitwan's Kit Controller Ram KC shared that out of 201 cases detected during 16 July to 24 September, 64 were found in Bharatpur Hospital, Ratnanagar (9), Chitwan Medical College (51), Narayani Samudayik Hospital (61), Nirnaya Diagnostic (13), Manakamana Hospital (2) and Centre Hospital (1).

Two people have already lost their life after the detection.

According to KC, 11 people were found with Dengue infection among 487 patients. Likewise, 394 were tested positive for Influenza H1N1.
