HETAUDA, APRIL 26
As many as 21 persons have filed nominations for mayoral post and 11 persons have filed nominations for deputy mayor in Hetauda sub-metropolis.
The election office had fixed till Sunday and Monday for aspirants to file their candidacy for the post of mayor and deputy mayor.
Ananta Prasad Poudel from CPN-UML, Mina Kumari Lama of CPN (US), and Rastriya Prajatantra Party's Dipak Bahadur Singh have filed the nomination for the mayoral post. Similarly, Dipa Lama of Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal, Sanjiv Baral of Loktrantrik Samajbadi Party-Nepal, and Ramesh Man Singh of Nepal Majdoor Party have also filed nomination for the same post. Likewise, Nepal Communist Party-ML's Keshab Ghatri, Mukunda Prasad Acharya of Nepal ka Lagi Nepali Party, Srijana Bastola of Maulik Jarokilo Party, Ram Prasad Gautam of Sachet Nepali Party, Nepal Communist Party-Samajbadi's Romanath Bhurtel, and Ayodhaya Kumar Bhattarai from Unnat Loktantra Party have also filed nomination for the mayoral post.
Similarly, nine independent candidates have filed nomination for the post of mayor. Sanjaya Kharel, Surakshya Rijal, Purusottom Rupakheti, Kabiraj Pathak, Pradip Dhakal, Dev Raj Poudel, Lila Kumari Acharya, Bishwonath Pandey and Uttam Kumar Dulal have filed their independent candidacies for the mayoral post in Hetauda sub-metropolis.
Likewise, Sumitra Kafle of UML, NC's Rajesh Baniya, Harihar Khatiwada of Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal, Nani Maiya Shrestha of Loktrantrik Samajbadi Party, Indira Neupane of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Nepal Communist Party's Ambika Lamichhane, Sunil Ghimire of Maulik Jarokilo Party, Nepal Communist Party Samajbadi's Makha Kumari Timilsina, and Janajagaran Party Nepal's Shiva Kumari Pathak have filed candidacy for the deputy mayoral post.
