URLABARI, MORANG: As many as 25 persons were injured after the tractor they were travelling on veered off the road in Ramchok of Morang Jahada Rural Municipality-4.

The incident occurred when the tractor (Ko 2 Ta 2037) en route from west to east carrying wedding attendees lost its control and fell some four feet below the road at around 2:30 am along Ranogli- Biratnagar road section, Police said.

Two persons have been seriously injured and the rest 23 persons suffered minor injuries. The injured are undergoing treatment in Koshi zonal hospital of Biratnagar district.

Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle, informed Rangoli Area District Police Office.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
