As many as 26,267 voters were added to the voter list with photographs prepared by Election Commission in Dhading.

The EC updated the voter list for a month beginning from July 16 to August 19 through all the 13 local units.

Of them, 12,708 are female while the remaining 13,559 are said to be male, as per District Election Office Dhading.

According to District Election Officer Ishwor Simkhada, as many as 7,103 new voters were updated at Nilkantha Municipality, 2,648 at Dhunibeshi Municipality and 3,126 at Thekre Rural Municipality.

Similarly, 2,192 at Galchhi Rural Municipality, 1,802 at Gajuri Municipality, 1,744 at Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality and 1,600 at Siddhalek Rural Municipality.

Likewise, 1,545 new voters were added at Tripurasundari and 1,184 at Jwalamukhi rural Municipalities, 1,078 at Gangajamuna Rural Municipality, 824 at Khaniyabas Rural Municipality, 760 at Netrawati Rural Municipality and 661 at Ruby Valley Rural Municipality among others, as per the election office.
