TANAHUN: Police arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in black marketing of diesel in Tanahun.

Police on Tuesday took under control three persons from Gachhepani of Shuklagandaki Municipality.

The suspects have been identified as Suraj Lalchan (32) of Shuklagandaki municipality-1, Sunil KC (38) of Ward No. 5 of the same municipality and Til Bahadur Ghale (42) a local of Pokhara Sub-Metropolis-9 and currently living in Lekhnath Municipality-13, confirmed DSP at the District Police Office Rakesh Singh.

A police team deputed from the Area Police Office Belchautari seized a plastic drum containing 600 litres of diesel and arrested three persons involved in the black marketing of fossil fuel, DSP Singh informed.

Investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
