3 Nepalis held for Delhi theft

New Delhi, August 27:

Three Nepali youths were arrested yesterday on the charge of robbing a house in Timarapur in Delhi.

Delhi police confiscated cash and jewellery worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from them.

According to DCP Devesh Chandra Srivastav, the arrested are Hum Bahadur, alias Raju, of Gorkha, Arjun Bahadur and Rajan Kumar.

They had stolen goods and cash from a trader Amarjit Singh’s house at Malroad in Timarapur area on August 21. Raju had been working at Amarjit’s house for two years and served the Singh couple with dinner laced with sleeping pills before making off with the property.
