NAWALPARASI: East-west highway accident leaves 30 injured and three critical at Sunwal of Nawalparasi on Friday, February 23, 2018.

The accident occurred when a bus (Lu 2 Kha 1605) coming to Butwal from Kathmandu collided with a truck bearing an Indian number plate (UP 83 AT 3966), the accident was due to blowout.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the Lumbini Zonal Hospital of Butwal district and a community hospital based in Bhumahi, the Sunwal Area Police Office said.

The number of the injured could rise, according to police estimate.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
