Nuwakot, June 25:

The third day of indefinite transportation strike affected public life in Nuwakot and Rasuwa on Friday. Motorcycles plied but other private and public vehicles stayed off the road, severely affecting commercial activity in both districts. The Maoists called the indefinite strike on Wednesday in three districts of Dhading, Rasuwa and Nuwakot. Human rights bodies, social organisations and the Federation of Non-governmental Organisations, Nuwakot, have urged the Maoists to withdraw the strike as it was affecting people rather than the authorities.
