PANCHTHAR: Four people were critically injured in a road accident at Anga VDC in Panchthar district on Thursday.

The injured have been identified as Bhupendra Karki of Yashok-3, Naryan Timsina of Mauwa-4, Lok Bahadur Lawati of Mauwa-7 and jeep driver Anzliya Thapa.

The jeep (Me 1 Ja 670) was heading to district headquarters, Phidim from Mauwa VDC of the district today when the accident occurred.

The jeep fell some 100 metres down off the road in Sava rivulet, said DSP Krishna Prasad Koirala.

The injured have been taken to district hospital for treatment.
