JHAPA: Four people were killed while four others were injured when a car heading for Kankai Mai festival from Biratnagar collided with a bus coming from the opposite direction at Kamal Khola in Kerkha of Jhapa district along the East West Highway on Friday morning.

According to the police Mahendra Limbu, Dhan Kumar Limbu of Tehrathum, Surya Bahadur Raya of Udayapur and a year and half old Sagar Tamang of Biratnagar were killed in the accident.

Two died on the spot while two others breathed their last on the way to the hospital.

The injured are receiving treatment in Biratnagar and Birtamod.
