400 Saptari flood affected households receive relief supplies

RAJBIRAJ: Relief materials have been distributed to approximately 400 households affected by flooding of Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-2 in Saptari district.

The relief supplies included clothes, beddings, improved stoves, and utensils were distributed by local organisation Sabal Nepal-Saptari amid a programme.

The event was attended by Bhagirath Pandey, Chief District Officer, Saptari; Ramadhar Yadav, Saptari Chief of Armed Police Force; Shatish Singh, Chairperson at Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality; vice chair Suchita Kumari Yadav, and Juna Giri, Chairperson of the Sabal Nepal.

The Sabal Nepal has a plan to distribute relief materials to around 6000 flood affected families of various places in Saptari district, said Sabal Nepal chair Giri.
