ARGHAKHANCHI: A stone inscription believed to be some 400 years old has been found at Jaluke Naumure of Shitganga Municipality in Arghakhanchi district recently.

The inscription is in Nepali language and the date mentioned in it is Chaitra 13, 1685 BS.

Narayan Khatri, Assistant Chief District Officer said, “It has been estimated that the inscription might either be any government record or had been brought there after being swept away by Rapti River in the recent flooding.”

The pictures of the inscription have been sent to experts to know all facts about it.
