403 benefit from free blood test camp in Pokhara
POKHARA: As many as 403 people underwent blood tests for detection of diabetes and thyroid at a free blood test camp organised in Pokhara, of kaski district on Saturday.
The blood test camp was jointly organised by United Reference Laboratory (URL) Pvt Ltd and Newa Misa Pucha, a local organisation.
On the occasion, Dr Subas Bhattarai, highlighted the importance of such screening health camps, saying that they helped in diagnosing health problems on time so that the people can get timely treatment.
Thakur Prasad Panta, Managing Director at the URL said they have been organising such health camps in collaboration with various organisations as part of their social responsibility to bring quality health services to the people.
