April quake's 419th aftershock above magnitude 4

KATHMANDU: A light aftershock of local magnitude 4.1 was felt in central Nepal on Wednesday morning.

It was the 419th aftershock, measuring magnitude 4 or above, of the devastating April 25 earthquake which was measured 7.6 on the Richter scale.

The National Seismological Centre said today's aftershock was recorded at 8:59 am with the epicentre between Ghorthali and Singati of Sindhupalchok district.

An aftershock of or above magnitude 4 was recorded after 10 days today.
