DAMAULI: A 42-year-old man was electrocuted in Tanahun district.

The deceased has been identified as Dil Bahadur Rana of Gordika, Rising-6 of the district.

Rana, who was critically injured after receiving electric shock, was rushed to a primary health centre in Bhimad but breathed his last during the course of treatment, the District Police Office, Tanahun informed.

Police said that the incident occurred while he was trying to charge his mobile phone.

The body has been kept at the Damauli Hospital for autopsy, police said.
