Dhading/Sunsari, Jan 7:

Altogether 43 persons were injured in two different accidents in Dhading and Sunsari districts.

At least 26 persons were injured today when a bus heading Kathmandu from Mirmi, another bus heading Mugling from Kathmandu and a truck collided with each other. The accident took place at around 4 pm today at Naukilo along the Prithvi highway.

The injured have been taken to Bir hospital for treatment.

In Itahari of Sunsari, 17 persons were injured when the tempo they were travelling in met with an accident at Balgramchowk in Ekamba of Sunsari district.

Among those injured, the condition of four persons is said to be serious, the area police office, Pakali, said. The accident occurred as the tempo heading Jhumka from Itahari overturned.
