BIRATNAGAR:

Five members of a family were injured when a group of dacoits attacked them on Sunday at Mirgauliya VDC in Morang. Devendra Karki, his son Gyanendra and brother Hari sustained bullet injures when the dacoits opened fire, said the Morang police office. Dacoits also roughed up Devendra’s wife Manamaya and daughter Nirmala. The injured are undergoing treatment in Dharan. The dacoits fled with nine tolas of gold from Devendra’s home, police said.
