The government has transferred officers based in different government bodies to the post of chief district officers in 52 districts.

According to the Home Ministry, joint secretary at the Ministry of Local Development, Kapildev Ghimire, has been transferred to the post of chief district officer (CDO) of Jhapa, CDO of Tanahu Govinda Mani Bhurtel to Paanchthar, CDO of Bardia, Narendra Dahal, to Morang, CDO of Sarlahi, Sharada Bhakta Shrestha, to Sunsari, Sudhir Kumar Shah from the Home Ministry to CDO of Bhojpur and Purna Bhakta Tandukar from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to the post of CDO of Terhathum.

Likewise, CDO of Surkhet, Tilak Ram Sharma has been transferred to the post of CDO of Saptari, joint secretary at the Ministry of General Administration Biswa Prankish Pandit to Siraha, undersecretary at the Home Ministry, Netra Bahadur Karki, to CDO of Khotang, CDO of Dhading, Jeevan Prakash Oli, to Udayapur, Abdul Kalam Khan from the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management, to Okhaldhunga, director-general of the Department of Transport Management, Hari Prasad Nepal, to Dhanusa, CDO of Makwanpur, Jaya Mukunda Khanal, to Mahottari, CDO of Bhaktapur, Gehanath Bhandari, to Sindhuli, joint regional administrator at the Regional Administration Office, Pokhara, Bodhraj Adhikari, to Sarlahi, and Dil B Ghimire from the Public Service Commission to the post of CDO of Dolakha district.

Director-general of the Women Development Division, Nabin Ghimire, has been transferred to the post of CDO of Parsa, CDO of Rupandehi, Dhruva Prasad Sharma, to Rautahat, joint secretary at the Peace Secretariat, Shanta R Subedi, to Bara, CDO of Parsa, Narendra R Poudel, to Chitwan, CDO of Kapilbastu, Modaraj Dotel, to Makwanpur, joint secretary at the Ministry of Information and Communications, Sushil Ghimire, to Kathmandu, assistant CDO of Jhapa, Basanta Raj Bhattarai, to Bhaktapur, CDO of Paanchthar, Janardan Adhikari, to Nuwakot, and assistant CDO of Lalitpur, Ramsharan Chaumariya, to Dhading.

CDO of Morang, Yograj Poudel, has been transferred to Kaski, CDO of Dadeldhura, Durga Prasad Bhandari, to Syangja, assistant CDO of Kathmandu, Taranath Gautam, to Gorakha.

CDO of Manang, Tekbir Jung Rayamajhi, has been transferred to Tanahun, CDO of Gulmi, Netra Prasad Sharma, to Lamjung, assistant CDO of Chitwan, Top Narayan Sharma, to Manang, acting CDO of Dhanusha, Ratna Raj Pandey, to Baglung, joint-secretary at the Local Development Ministry, Ganga Datta Awasthi, to Rupandehi, CDO of Siraha, Deepak Kumar Joshi, to Kapilbastu, and joint-secretary at the Home Ministry, Niranjan Baral, to Nawalparasi.

Laxman Kumar Thapa of the Local Development Ministry has been transferred to Palpa, CDO of Syangja, Durga Prasad Pokharel, to Gulmi, assistant CDO of Morang, Kailash Nath Kharel, to Arghakhanchi, joint-secretary at the Ministry of Labour and Transport Management, Pratap Kumar Pathak, to Dang, joint-secretary at the National Vigilance Centre, Binod Kumar Adhikari, to Banke, CDO of Mahottari, Bimal Prasad Dhakal, to Bardiya, and joint-regional administrator at the Regional Administration Office, Hetauda, Durganidhi Sharma, to Surkhet.
