BIRGUNJ: The District Police Office, Parsa, impounded a tractor laden with 55 filled cooking gas cylinders of Indian brands from Mahadevpatti of Parsa district on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip-off, SP Raja Babu Shrestha said, police confiscated the cylinders that were being imported illegally from India late night yesterday.

SP Shrestha also informed that the driver and the smugglers left their tractor and fled immediately after noticing their presence.
