6 injured in assorted bike accidents in Nawalparasi

KAWASOTI: As many as six persons were injured in separate motorbike accidents in Nawalparasi along the East – West Highway on Monday night.

Among the injured, three are said to be in critical condition.

Gyan Bahadur Thapa (24) was critically injured after a bike he was riding on went out of control and met with an accident at Devchuli – 14 of Nawalparasi.

He was rushed to Bharatpur in Chitwan for treatment, the Area Police Office, Nawalpur said.

Similarly, Jung Bahadur Thapa Magar and Ramesh Bhusal of Devchuli – 4 were injured in a bike (Ba 48 Pa 4779) accident at Beldiya bridge of Gaindakot Municipality.

They are receiving treatment at the Bharatpur Medical College.

Likewise, three persons were injured in a scooter – bicycle collision at Hamal Chok in Devchuli Municipality.

Scooter rider Pradeep Bhandari (23) and pillion rider Bikash Sharma of Kawasoti – 8 were injured when the two-wheeler (Na 42 Pa 2636) hit the bicycle, according to the District Traffic Police Office, Nawalparasi.

The identity of the injured cyclist is yet to be established.
