KATHMANDU: As many as six persons were injured after a bus hit a van they were travelling on, in Rajaiya, Manahari-8 of Makawanpur district on Thursday.

Passengers of the bus including Chandramaya Magar, Dal Bahadur Magar, Sushila Magar, Sher Bahadur Magar and Manij Magar and the van driver Chitra Jarga Magar were injured.

The bus (Na 6 Kha 7099) had hit the van (Ko 1 Cha 2699) at around 4 this morning.

All of them are being treated at the Makawanpur-based Chure Hill Hospital.

The Newarpani Area Police Office has impounded the bus and arrested the driver for further investigation.
